It needs to be a GSM phone to work on T-Mobile. There is also a difference in service between prepaid and postpaid accounts. You get better 4G LTE coverage using a postpaid/full account. Also be sure to check the bands to see if your phone is compatible with T-Mobiles brands for service. It will determine how much signal and how strong/efficient the phone will be.
