I'm not computer savvy so maybe there is an easy fix to this, however, I couldn't find any solutions on Google.

Every so often when I type, it'll type duplicate letters. For instance typing one "o" will somehow turn into "oo" and so on and so forth. It seems completely random and only happens sporadically. This only happened after I had to unplug and replug my keyboard very quickly to move it to a different part of my desk. Never happened before that. Any suggestions?? (just happened with the question marks, lol). Also it happens when I backspace as well, it'll backspace twice instead of once sometimes.

What type of keyboard?

Oh sorry, it's the Ducky Shine 3 TKL version. USB. I did not unplug it from the back of the computer, just the keyboard itself. So its been in the same USB socket in the back of my PC the whole time.
Happens when I do the space bar also. Would like to point out again that it's never happened until I just very, very briefly unplugged it so I could move it to my keyboard tray instead of on top of my desk. Also it's a huge annoyance as I am a PhD student trying to get work done and my life is currently spent typing huge amounts of text, this is a major hindrance and slowing me down today

I would unplug it again, and replug it back in, if this doesn't fix it, then unplug it and restart your computer, when your desktop is fully loaded replug in the keyboard, do this to muti ports as well to see if it could be the particular usb port going out. One of these issues should resolve it, if it doesn't then your keyboard has finally hit the end of its keystrokes lol

Hope that helps! I mean if you really wanted to you could pop your keys out of your keyboard and try to clean underneath it, maybe there is debris there, but this can either A)solve it temp or B.) not help it at all

Just tried all these, it didn't work unfortunately. I'm going to be surprised and a bit pissed off if this keyboard just hit the end of its lifespan, I've only had it for a couple years and everyone told me this keyboard was high quality. Also, there's minimal to no debris underneath.
It only happened when I unplugged it briefly, I'm thinking maybe I somehow changed a setting on accident or something.

It happens with every single key on the keyboard, not just one or two. every key. numbers, letters, space bar, backspace, enter, tab, etc

unplugging the keyboard and replugging the keyboard in defaults the settings for the keyboard, a few years is a long time on a keyboard if your using it enough. Keyboards have a break-point some are like 150,000 keystrokes, or some shit, I haven't personally sat and tested keyboards, from repairing pc's overtime I've collected a few so when they start not working I always have a spare. If this wasn't solved by just doing the basic things, it makes me believe the keyboard had its run

another way would be go into your Device Manager and look at your keyboard inputs, right click, then select properties and uninstall the keyboard. Unplug the keyboard after that and replug it back in to allow it to be reinstalled that way, but if running Windows 10 it might automatically grab the same drivers and relist it there, but unplug it and replug it back again. If this doesn't solve it, I would certainly consider it being the keyboard

And me unplugging it coincidentally triggered the end of its life? I know I've mentioned it before but it literally happened right after that - I've never had this issue before, ever. It's not like it can't type, I'm typing right now on it, it's just that this thing occasionally happens every few words.

There's 4 different keyboards that my device manager is recognizing, they all pretty much say the same thing. I'm not sure which one to uninstall o.O

I'm not saying that its the end of its life, but I'm saying if you've exhausted everything other then that, then yes. If you accidentally pulled it during a charge period and it shorted causing it to misread on its circuits yes. Is this what happened? Idk I'm guaging this from home, not where you are. I would keep just switching ports and restarting if you don't believe its the keyboard, but anything else makes me believe it is.

Not sure what a charge period is. I just unplugged it (not from the back of the PC, but the mini USB that plugs into the keyboard itself) for about 30 seconds while I moved the keyboard to a different location. It's something I've done before without issues in the past :\
