I currently have a 760 running 3 screens in 5760x1080. I am buying a 1070 soon for the 3 screens. I am wondering if I can keep the 760 installed and run the fourth monitor mounted above the others. I want it separate so I can play a video or something on the fourth and have full screen game on the others any way to make that work?

you can use the 760 as a dedicated physics card only atm. (still dx12 allows sli/crossfire across cards if it ever does)
depending on the 1070 you may be able to have 4 screens provided it has enough outputs.

**note
using the 760 as a physics card may bottle neck your system also.
