Hey, I've experienced wrist pain a lot while I played games as a kid (on pc)

I took huge breaks at a time but every time I came back I'd start to get pain again.

I've tried those gel pads & wrist braces etc. But nothing worked

I eventually went to the doctor actually, and I learned a lot.

It may not be the same for you but: the pain I was experiencing was from pinching my nerves in my wrist from the angle my hands were at, the gel pad would press against the nerves and make it feel better for a time but is actually far worse for it in the long run.

Same goes for the wrist brace, you're putting extra pressure on your already pinched nerves.

The solution I found (after much trial and error & research) is this: the proper position for your mouse hand is over & right behind your number pad.

I would put a stack of books just behind my number pad of my keyboard at a height slightly above the keyboard itself. So when I use the mouse I'm reaching up over the number pad without resting or touching my arm to the key board.

Apparently that's where it's "supposed" to be.

I used that set up for years and I had absolutely zero wrist pain

Try it! I think it will help =) and avoid resting your wrists on anything so you don't stress your nerves.

Try to be mindful of the angle of your hands when you use the keyboard & mouse, too

I hope this helps!! =)

I don't have a desktop anymore, I haven't used a pc for gaming for a while now, but I'll see if I can cook up some pseudo-pictures for you tomorrow.
