everytime I download something, it says Failed - Virus Scan failed.

how do I fix this? This happens even when I try to download a image...

I think it might be a virus/malware cause sometimes when I click on a link, it redirects me to a random website... and since I cant download an anti-malware/virus program, I cant remove it.. cause chrome wont let me download

Cant seem to download anything now, might have a malware/virus that prevents anything from being downloaded and uses the excuse "it has a virus so it cant be d/led"

IE/Edge use Windows Defender for download scanning, and if Defender is broken, that will kill downloads.

ESET is not a virus.

im using the avast safezone browser to download the ESET.. its still running
