Hello guys I've been doing some research as I have alittle pick of "crackling/distortion" in my sound every now in then.

I saw a solution to this was increasing the buffer size of my audio but I can't quite figure out how to do this >_>..

I'm currently using a Sound Blaster Z card and also have the control panel that comes with it but I see no option for changing buffer size.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ^_^

e; wanted to mention I almost only have this problem when running multiple instances that need sound ie: watching a stream, playing a game, voip at same time

Are you using ASIO? If not, You dont have any buffer settings to change.

Yes and no, It works for most.. But its only 'officially' supported by some.

It's more for audio input though, So you dont get input delay when talking over your mic. It's especially good for singers who want to hear how loud they are.

Anyways, Not exactly sure what your issue is.. Does this happen at lower volume? Or only higher volume levels?

The Z has a very weak amp, You might be trying to draw too much power out of it & causing it to clip.
