MOBO - Asus M5A78L-MLX-Plus

CPU - AMD FX6100 Overclocked to 3.8GHz

PSU - EVGA 600W Bronze-Edition Certified

GPU - GeForce GTX650Ti 1G DDR5

Looking to upgrade my CPU, not really sure where to start.
And is there something about it needing to have the right BIOS?

Again, pretty computer illiterate.

Thanks!

Your also goign to want to update your bios first...

The BIOS was what I was most curious about.
I think my current version is like 4482 or some offthewall number like that.

Whats the difference vetween the 8370 and 8350 black edition other than price?

And ive also read they both have overheating issues.

I have watercool installed on the mobo?

Assuming I would need to get one for the cpu?
Or is the one I have enough?

Lol I need to learn more about this shit.

The 8370 has Turbo that goes to 4.3Ghz, the 8350 Turbo goes to 4.2Ghz.
They don't ahve any heat issues that an AIO water cooler won't fix. Yes, you can use the one you have.

Kk awesome.

So for that extra .1ghz they want another 50$.
Lol.

Again, thank you for all the help.
Ill delve deeper into the reviews to see if the 70 is worth an extra 50$
