it's honestly not bad if you have simple gaming needs. you play at 1080p i assume? what power supply and how old? a used gpu can be pretty cheap, plus get another 4GB ram and possibly a new power supply depending on model and how old it is. that motherboard is pretty underwhelming but depending on what gpu you get it should be fine ( a power efficient card would be ideal on a mobo like that ).

and more questions: budget? have you attempted to play it already?

Well it simply comes down to price. Looking for the simplest upgrade to play it. It is scheduled to come out on ps4 12/2016 and I got a ps4 but not that many choices when it comes down to mods on ps4 so looking to see if its worth while ti upgrade pc to play
I was, at first, able to play it on low-mid settings with frame rate issues.
They did some updates and now i cannot play it on lowest settings without worse frame rate issues then before.

I bought it in 2013
CORSAIR CX series CX500 500W 80 PLUS BRONZE Active PFC ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply

Not looking for 1080 gaming. I am hoping to atleast play it mid-high or atleast low-mid again instead of lowest possible setting with issues

you could get other gpu's as well, it's just that a used 960 is a pretty good bargain. also i assumed you had 4 dimm slots, hence why i linked just 4GB to add. you could get 2x 4GB sticks for 55-60$, and a used 660 for 85-100$ if you really wanna be cheap.

with all this said, you sound like a console kind of person anyways, you already made up your mind. enjoy your console.

I didnt make up my mind lol
I had my ps4 since launch and have yet to complete a full game on it

Its just its a extremely cheap option to play the game atm.
If it was only ram that would need to be upgraded it would have been a good way to get into the game now

I mean if you do not have standards for framerates and graphics, then I would wait to get it on ps4. Your current GPU is VERY similar to what the Ps4 has inside of it.
Your current PC is pretty underpowered. if you tossed a bit of money into it, it would easily over power your Ps4.
I would however, regardless get at least up to 8GB of ram.
