As the title says, it will be for university. Don't look for deals, I will buy it from Finland/Germany.

There will be some light programming, note-taking and having a lot of browser tabs open.

I need it to be lightweight as I will carry it all the time. Most likely <15'', with proper battery life, decent power for pleasurable multitasking. They're all rivaling factors, I'm looking for a happy medium.

Windows would be preferable, although Macbook Air 13'' is not easy to beat in terms of weight vs battery life.

No need for large storage, I have a home server after all.

Feel free to chime in for ideas.

I'll probably settle with the Dell XPS 13 non-touch (2016) or the Macbook Air 13'' (early 2015), leaning towards the Dell
