I see there's a solid selection of video editing software available, but no real details on how good each is. If anyone here streams, I was wondering what software is your favorite. I have solid computer skills, but have yet to do any actual video editing.
I'm using OBS and my videos are fine, but I'm looking to create montages, trim, sequence, and do some audio fixing on a pretty large number of videos I'm making. Is there any clear superior all purpose program for all of this? Or do people use more than 1 program? Thanks for the tips ahead of time, I plan on spending quite a bit of time on this in the coming weeks.

Adobe after effects + sony vegas is the most common combination i believe.

Personally I've been using https://www.viosk.com/ video editing software. Using it, I can apply some cool effects, adjust video speed, cut the extracts with no quality loss. By the way, you can download a free demo version to try out its functions.
