The components seem reasonable. I really wanted a 1080, though.

Is this decent for the price? I'm not too sure when it comes to mobo's and RAM of what quality they are. But it seems like it's all pretty decent.

E: I guess if I built it myself it'd be around $1,320 or so.

Was going to build a computer a month or two ago but decided to buy a car. XD I'll probably build one with a 1080 in December..

Looks like a solid build, Micro center is a great retailer.

You can actually create your own custom parts list and they will put it all together for $50 and you can pick it up a week later at one of their stores.
Most pre builts charge a 150-300 premium with terrible cable management so a flat $50 is a steal if you REALLY do not want to build your own.

Maybe I will do that!

I didn't know they had that kind of service. I knew they built them for $50.00 but didn't know you can create a list and just have them do it. lol

I have barely any free time any more!

It likely has to be stuff they carry. I think you would be better off spending them a list, though. Especially if that 1070 is reference model.

be wary that psu has 4 +12v rails so if you plan on adding another gpu later keep that in mind.

for being prebuilt that's not too bad..

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/JHC3Z8

tried to replicate it the best i could, threw a corsair case in there and took the current 175$ price point for the fatal1ty z170 board from newegg
includes cost of windows, excludes cost of putting it all together.

e/ looks like the case is powerspec atx 767c which is like $40, so expect a shitty case in general, which is common with prebuilts.

I may just buy a bunch of parts and build one myself. The time it'd take to have them build it + my time driving back and forth wouldn't be worth it anyways. Even if it was free. lol I'd spend more time driving than building one myself.

So I'll just wait till October-December and build one myself with a 1080 in it.

it'll be a 40%~ performance difference from the 1080 is a good guess. probably a little less. but the titan x pascal is a really good example of how strong the halo cards are going to be. it set a good pace.
