hello world, as of yesterday my roomate decided to ask me to fix her laptop. its a
hp pavilion g6-1b79dx
Microprocessor 2.40GHz Intel Core i3-370M Processor
Memory 4GB DDR3 System Memory (1 DIMM)

anywho after getting a charger for it, we found a "broken cpu fan" which ended up only being a small piece of plastic obstructing the fan.
after throwing it all back together, every thing seems to work, all ports/usb/display... etc. THEN SHE FORGOT HER PASSWORDS, so i booted off of a FREE WINDOWS VERSION

BUT my wifi card seems to be broken or so shitty it cant pick up its own drivers. making the rest of the process HALTED

in device manager both controllers have yellow exclamation marks. so it brings me to my conclusions

1.) i broke my wifi card YO
2.) these drivers and hardware in general is shit.
3.) my nabbed version of windows is stopping all update services
4.) im stupid

ANY ONE HAVE ANY IDEAS???
