Need help running Albion Online from work PC. Won't connect past work firewall. Need to figure out a way to proxy past this. Paying 165 gold to the person who helps me get past the firewall and playing the game.

If you do manage to get through the firewall, they will probably fire you.

Companies don't pay lots of money for corporate firewalls, to let employees poke holes in them. :/

You are going to want to probe your network and find out what you can and can not access. For example if you can browse HTTPS websites then port 443 is most likely being allowed through without much filtering. From there you will want to setup a VPN server listening on port 443. After that connect to the VPN network and forward your game traffic through the VPN network to bypass the firewall. Alternatively you can setup a SSH server listening on port 443 and use that as a remote socks4 proxy. If the game does not support proxying by default that is another challenge which I wont bother getting into.

There are other methods but they are not suitable for games since they increase latency by a lot. These methods are usually only for bypassing landing pages on hotspots to view the web.

I don't know if doing this is worth losing your job over, but what ever.

My boss doesn't care he said if I can get it on there do it.

The computer admin told me he won't do it for me but doesn't care if I proxy past the firewall and game nor will he do anything about it.

When you do your job well, your employer lets you goof off when you aren't slammed.

Getting out is not the problem.

The problem (and why IT won't do it for you), is what may/can come back through. ^^

The IT guy won't help you cause hes paid not to and doesn't believe you possess the brain capacity to do so and your boss has no idea about the risks involved.
But if you do this don't think for one second that if something does happen they won't throw you under a bus to save their own ass.

Regardless of all this no one here would be technically allowed to help you since it would violate your company's policy.
