Price range is up to $1,500 USD.

Would prefer to be in the $750-1000 range though.

If desktop, I will not be needing monitors, mouse, or keyboard.

I don't have the experience / know-how to build my own desktop.

Lmk JSP.

Desktop

What games do you play
What resolution is your monitor(S)

And it's pretty easy to build. Assuming the 1500 is USD?

he isn't overclocking
why would he want to install an aftermarket cooler
nn z170 for that.
source 210 / 220s are good but might as well give him an s340 because he likely won't be the best at cable management

Dont think the 6600ks come with a cooler unless they started adding them in now

Spending little more on k cpu with it cuz he may end up overclocking or resell value

and statement on cable management dont make sense when your case is forcing him to route the cables
and 210/220 has both options
either way both cases will do, I just like the fact 210 usually 30bucks always has been my go to case

thats why i listed 6500
k series don't come with coolers on skylake

if he isn't overclocking he
a; won't want to install aftermarket
b; won't use the overclocking potential anyway
c; wants to save money

i had the source 220
cable management was a pain, but doable. just not easy compared to the s340 etc with a basement
