My job is becoming more and more ram heavy. Looking to upgrade my current 8 gigs to at least 16 gigs. Anyone know of any places with decent ram prices?

If you already have some decent 1600mhz ddr3 ram you could just add another pair similar.

I have 4 ram slots. I wasn't sure if 2x8 was better than 4x4.

If you're doing ram heavy work, It might be worth just picking up a set of 2x8 at a higher speed than your current ram.

DDR3 is cheap as fuck now anyways.

2 x 8GB would be the better option.

Is the price difference from DDR3 to DDR4 worth the price jump?
