so i had a post earlier on building a pc with 800-900 budget.

this is what ive come up with so far. let me know what you think. its not done

im still looking into a motherboard and gpu

anything you would change? let me know.

The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO will not fit in a Corsair 100R case. The smallest Corsair case that will hold it, is the 200R.


/e Also, RAM has to be compatible with the CPU and the motherboard. So ya might wanna pick the motherboard first, then pick the RAM.

Pick the motherboard first so you don't run into compatibility issues

ive build one pc before but i had some help from someone with more experience.

what would be a good mobo for the 6500 i5?

i think im aiming for that cpu

don't buy z series unless you intend on buying an unlocked processor either now or later
and don't buy the aftermarket cooler unless you're doing that as well.

so for now get an h170 & remove the hyper 212 and keep the i5 6500

i recommend the 850 evo over sandisk but sandisk is ok too

nzxt s340 good case instead of corsair 100r

then the gtx 1070 is a great card at your budget
