It sucks in GA and I'm having a hard time finding a job.

4 years of IT Support (Network, Servers, End User support, cabling, audio/video production, etc) means nothing apparently.

Tons of companies don't give a shit about prior employment without specific certifications.

Which is ass backwards of every other business field, they usually don't give 2 fucks about where you went to school, they just want 5+ years of experience with examples of past projects.

Which is stupid imo. Certifications only mean you test well. Only a few tests actually test if you can implement what you know.

if money is an issue, find a company that reimburses for education and work for them long enough to get your certs.

Working a less than ideal job but getting education paid for might suck in the short term but sets you up for the next 20+ years of a career you want.

can you specify exactly what your role was before and what your duties were.
like run me through a day at work before.
