I have a unique opportunity to return my 980 ti for in store credit and pay 210 for the 1080 if I want but not sure it would be a worthy upgrade considering it's the reference founders edition

25% in core clocks doesn't mean it's going to blast a 980 ti.

unless you're playing 1440p 144 fps don't worry about upgrading.

big pascal is supposed to be released in august. a 1080 ti yes all day long to that upgrade.
