770's are pretty neutral cans, With decent isolation 'cuz closed.

The 990's are more of a "fun" headphone. They over exagerate the bass & treble. Leaving mids in the back. They're Semi-Open so they dont really leak much sound when wearing them.

E11 or CmoyBB. Both are really good portable amps.

Have slightly different sound compared to each other though.

Plus with the cmoy, You can look like a Boss playing music out of an altoids tin

Jdslabs is very trustworthy, I've bought a few things from them. And when i had a problem with something (User error) They emailed me back in less then 20 minutes.

So if you want bassy fun headphones get the FA-011. If you want a portable bass amp get the ZO^2. A bit pricey but hands down a class A amp for bass heads. Still not sure what type of cans you want or the style besides circumaural and closed.

So do this. Give us a price for both cans and an amp if need be. Types of music. Preferred sound style/signature. Good all around sound is very vague. It's like asking for a pair of phones that have a flat sound wave to them.

Edit: I am guessing you want "Fun" cans.

lol. 350 for cans and only 75 for amp. Eek. If you want a real amp get the E17. As for what you mentioned I still suggest the FA-011. I'll look into the Ultrasone Pro 900s tomorrow.
