1. We don't hate prebuilts for no reason. We hate them because they always come back and bite YOU on the ass...propitiatory parts, that cost a fortune to replace etc. We've seen it 1000 times on here.
2. Ya can't make a custom built like you're trying to do...which part is best, etc. A computer is a system and must be built as a system.
3. We have a separate forum for custom builds: http://forums.d2jsp.org/forum.php?f=189
4. There are two stickies there...one tells you what information to post so we can help you build a comp, and the other is a brief guide to building your own comp.

Overclocking (If done right and not doing absurd volts etc.) Does miniscule to no damage to your cpu. I'm sure a lot of people swap out their cpu within several years which is long before any difference is done to the cpu.

noob whacker says it does.

posts "proof" as in: double the voltage on an i7-920 and try for 3.8-4 ghz (doubling voltage is not even required for that clock) and you will shorten your cpus life....

NO FUCKING shit you are force feeding voltage, christ he is retarded.

Meanwhile I have an i5-2500k bought in aug 2011 and it has been at 4.3-4.5 since and it is no where near "death".

and @ op.... don't pm me I have no intention of helping someone who asks for help, gets told solid advice (ie 8320....) and says "LOL NOPE"
