I will pay FG for someone who can spend an hour or so with me to help me with a few things with streaming.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask TBH. If it's the wrong place, please guide me to where to go!

I'm trying to stream on YouTube. Maybe Twitch as well. Not as a livelihood, just as a hobby.

I'm using OBS.

All I've figured out so far is how to go live on YouTube and how to share my D2 game screen.

What I'd like to know:

1) How to have my run counter show up
2) Can I play any music in the background, or is it not okay? (I'm assuming no)
3) How to clip easily when I find cool shit so I can make a short
4) Basics of things I ought to know
5) Set up a webcam to show (I don't have 1 yet)

Etc...

Is there anyone who can help me with these things? I am mostly computer savvy, but streaming and OBS are new to me. Plz lmk how much FG it would be for your time to help me with these things <3

We can set up a time tomorrow or the weekend when you're available to run me through these things

2) Can I play any music in the background, or is it not okay? (I'm assuming no)

if you are low profile you basically can when live streaming but if you want any of your past streams to stay up as vods or things like that you will get warned then struck/muted old vidoes

3) How to clip easily when I find cool shit so I can make a short

if you by any chance have nvidia geforece experience it has an instant replay feature where you have it setup so when you press it it records the previous x minutes (you set the length). It like always runs in the background when gaming.
Twitch/youtube also have clip features built in where you click a button and it clips the past x amount of time

4) Basics of things I ought to know

Don't think that you have to have the best setup just to click start stream. A lot of times while streaming the some of the first viewers you have will know how to help you with basic things if you ask about anything you have questions about.
