https://versus.comhttps://pcpartpicker.comYou can try the versus website to compare your monitors to get a general idea ( They don't show new models ) , only like 1 year +.
pc part picker website, is always a nice website to use when building computers &
checking compatibility notes ect, and is nice to filter important stuff, and sort by price.
https://www.msi.com/Monitor/MAG-27CQ6F/SpecificationHere is the Specs for your monitor.
The important things we really care about there are the fallowing.
* Screen Resolution 1080P, 1440P (2K), 2160P (4K) , Depending on the game, you will want a better Video Graphics card.
* Refresh Rate 60hz, 120,144,165,180,240,300 (To simplify ) the higher the number, the better for higher FPS games , Car Race game, or Shooter games.
* Colors 8Bits , 10Bits = ( 8bits + FRC ) More Vivid colors.
* Black / White Contrast Ratio, 1000:1 , is common in cheap monitors, and harder to see things in the dark, 3000:1 is pretty common for True Gaming monitors. 5000:1 is best.
* Brightness ( nits ) , 250,300,350,400 , the higher the number, the brighter the screen can get.
More Brightness is a nice feature to have overall, and especially if you have a lot of windows in your home, it helps prevent reflection from the sun and stuff.
* AMD & Nvidia Sync Technology Feature ( Personally ) it makes no difference , but to a professional there is a slight difference. ( it basically prevents after Image , or repeating image )
To get a better understanding, put your hand kind of in front of your face, and wave your hand.
( you can't really see ) how many fingers you have right? well basically this Sync Technology would help reduce the blur, to give you a better idea of how many fingers are on your hand.
Compared Your MSI monitor to 2 Samsung G5's
27" MSI MAG 27CQ6F $173 ( 1 year old ) ** Cheaper & Better, than the G5's **
27" G5 (G51C) $350 ( 2 Years old )
27" G5 (G50A) $399. ( 4 years old )
## Other Notes ##
https://www.msi.com/Monitor/MAG-27CQ6F/support#driverhttps://www.msi.com/Monitor/MAG-27CQ6F/support#utilityThere is a Driver & Software available for download, could provide a better experiance, if you don't already have them installed.
* If you do buy a new monitor, MSI is probably the better brand for less than $400, there are better brands but extremely expensive.
Now lets talk about this MAG 275QPF X30
https://www.msi.com/Monitor/MAG-275QPF-X30/SpecificationSo here is the spec sheet for the one your looking at.
Keep in mind, that It will be a Flat Screen instead of Curve ( which Personally i find annoying ). Once i upgraded to Curve, I couldn't go back.
Your Upgrading to a screen Resolution of 1440P ( 2K ) @ 300hz , but your downgrading to cheap 1000:1 contrast.
# Market , Aimed to sell to Console Players, if your a computer person, you will most likely not enjoy this monitor at all, and it may feel like a down grade.
** Bonus Thoughts **
((( Keep in mind of black Friday sales ))).
Samsung Odyssey G6 ( New Model ) , Should be available near you.
1440P ( 2K ) , 240 hz , 2500:1 contrast ratio , 350 BITS
Has Build in speakers, has aux, and 2 USB ports.
Has eye Releif Features , flicker free, low blue light.
You can even turn the screen sideways, so that its a super tall screen ( would make a great 2nd monitor , later on ) or something.
Best of all, it has a REMOTE CONTROLLER !!!!!!!!!!!!! thats right !
Its almost like having a tv, you can talk to it, and there is 4 buttons for streaming, netflix, samsung tv, amazon prime video, and Disney+
not to mention a back, home pause & play button, and directional/select button.
Also: Display Port connection is always better than HDMI/
Anyways, I could go on forever lol.
hope this information helped
