Personally interested in seeing actual rasterization benchmarks, and not Nvidia-claimed performance. We still don't have any benchmarks from independent sources, and what Nvidia provided was all performance claims using ai upscaling crap.

Until it's actually out, who knows™. Both Nvidia and AMD have a consistent history of shitting rainbows when it comes to their pre-launch performance claims - although I'd argue Nvidia is considerably worse in this regard.

nvidia is a clown show. 2% hardware improvement 98% software update to dlss4... hardware locked to the new release of gpus.

I have zero desire to buy a new gpu just to use dlss 4 and get 75% fake frames. I think back in 2012 Al Gore said AI will ruin everything... this is why modern gaming sucks, modern movies suck, modern art sucks, modern cars suck, ect. just wait for dlss4 mods to be released so u can use it on older 3000 and 4000 series cards.
unless they are gona double the amount of video memory (which they won't) these cards will be only worthwhile to those who dont already have a previous gen gpu.

The only reason I can play my RTX 3080 10gb at 4k 120fps high settings on new games is because fsr3.1 and fsr frame gen. thank you AMD for not wasting my 800$ purchase 5 years ago.

upscalers and frame gen is getting to a point where we can use an apu and get "4060 performance" in 5 years we wont need a gpu unless you are running ai software prolly less.

wouldn't surprise me one bit if they were actively slowing down the development of integrated graphics so they can push more worthless gpu sales these companies are scum bags.



edit: the rx 9070xt still waiting on pricing details and specs but im confident it will be a better deal than nvidia's bs.

Rumors suggest AMD will undercut the 5070 pricing with the RX 9070. The XT version will likely be priced higher
Early leaks show the XT version performance is similar to the 4080 so that basically means Nvidia is lieing big time about the 5070 performance. It will likely be on par with the 4070 ti super.

We calling this another washed gen? Or is this the new norm.
5070 would need to be on par with the 4080 but it doesn't look like it.
