Got a tower gifted to me. It's a brand new pc. Sadly nothing else came with it.

Can I just get a new ssd with clean windows, and all the drivers should update automatically? Anything else I should know?

The basic drivers will install automatically. You might need to search for some manually like GPU and whatever peripherals you end up getting

The only other thing is to confirm which ports your new tower has before you buy any peripherals

Does it allready have an OS installed? If not just put a windows on a usb (bootable usb) and switch your bios settings to setup the usb as primary startup, you can find lots of videos on YT.

I guess it all depends on if the ssd has any specific encryption or bitlocker active.
