any of you know how bad is it if I leave my OLED monitor (FO27q3) non stop in HDR mode with highest brightness? Any studies / info regarding panel/image tear in such a case?

Worst case scenario you'll get burn-in, just like any other OLED. Don't sit too long with static image/UI on the screen and you should be fine. Most current OLED have some prevention measures baked-in, but nothing's perfect.

You shouldn't be to worried, it will dim static elements on the screen.
