I'm not sure if i have enough power, or if i need to buy a new power supply to upgrade my CPU cooler.

Currently I have
i9- 13900k
32gb ddr5
4090
8 case fans (3x120, 5x 140)
and Noctua NH-D15 for cooling
1000W 80 Plus Gold EVGA

I'd like to upgrade to Corsair iCUE H170i for the CPU cooler.

Thanks in advance. I'm really bad at this, and I just want to make 100% before spending an extra $400.

Why are you upgrading your CPU from a solid cooler? DH-15 is more reliable and a beast already.

It wasn't. I was reaching temps of 100c. Games were stuttering. Now with new cooler on full load. 80 ish. No stuttering.

I love that solid cooler and used it for all my PCs. But this i9 13900k is something else in terms of power draw and heat

That's crazy, I've never had that cooler hit past 85 on max load!

Then again, I'm not using a heatbox CPU either
