So I have a new Lenovo Legion 7i pro with a 4080, 32gb ram, i9 13900 getting 60fps with league of legends on my ultrawide. I get 500 fps with my 16 inch laptop screen. Any idea of what could be happening?

League is not that intense of a game so I should easily be getting more than 60.

Vsync enabled?

League might have set your FPS to 60 after a hardware change. Did you check in-game to see if it’s set to 60?

Also are all drivers installed? You may need to set the FPS in Nvidia control panel or Display setting on Windows too

All drivers set up. Does me swapping it to an external monitor change anything in the display sedidngs?

Sometimes it does. I’d check WWI’s suggestion and see if vsync is enable somewhere. If it is it’ll only go up to the refresh rate of your monitor which is 60hz/60fps unless you have a monitor that supports higher
