i decided to drill some holes through my walls today to run a cat6 wifi cable from my pc to my router

my latency is lower, my downloada speed is the same, and my upload is only 2mb/s (wifi it was uploading 50 mb/s)

i can't see anything in the settings to change to help my upload speed, just wondering if anyone has experienced such a thing?

ty

edit: figured it out

had to disable large send offload v2 IPv6

Also you dont need high upload speed for gaming and streaming anything above 10 helps. Do you mean download speed? when your pc is plugged in you need to make sure your ethernet card can handle speeds above 120. all newer computers should have gigabyte cards in them by now.

Edit: You can change your Net Negotiation so you get the best speeds when wired in.
