Depends on the motherboard and the cpu.. What are you trying to do here? Build a pc? Id recommend a pre built in your case with a good company. Or do some research.. You havent even said what your aim is in all your posts.. Just one or 2 games.

I just want to swag with a stronger cpu. I don’t know the name of main board so I figure I ask if you know what other better cpu will fit in the same socket as the current one.

A stronger CPU is doable but to keep the mobo it depends on what you have.

What is your curent pc specs? Other than the intel 17 4790?

Edit: That's a older CPU and its a good chance you wont be able to put a more power full cpu in your mobo, you will need to upgrade your mobo, and then most likely RAM/gpu and probably the whole thing.

That's a older rig, You wont be able to put in higher end cpus on that mobo. You will actually need to do a full upgrade. That psu alone wont handle the newer cpus and gpus alone. Also even if you did put in a new cpu you are limited by your gpu, and most 2019+ cpus benefit off 32 gigs of duel channel ram.
