Little build history here
In 2019 I went from a 5830k + GTX 1070 to a Ryzen 3700X + RX 5700 XT. To sum it up: Problems

Day 1 I had issues with the computer. There was some USB buggyness I could not explain. There were also problems with PCIe add in cards and the Lan chip.

Once I got all that fixed I was constantly running into games crashes. I narrowed it down to the GPU. How? Reliability center pinged the crashes as a fault of an ATI driver. Keep in mind AMD still uses ATI naming in some of their Radeon drivers. I ended up switching to a RTX 2080S in early 2020 because of the crashes. Weirdly enough I was able to sell the 5700 XT for 600$ in 2021. Crazy times obviously

To this day I still have some problems with add in cards from some manufacturers.

The current system performs fine but overall? Meh. All these headaches back then almost made me pull my old computer back out.

My next build will be Intel + Nvidia to say the least.

I'm not convinced but ty for sharing. sounds like a mobo issue.
also the 5700xt was the first high grade rdna gpu so it had some limitations, lack of features and definitely wasn't anywhere near as good as the nvidia cards at the time. AMD has made vast improvements with the next 2 gens. had you paired your ryzen 7 3700x with a 6000 series or 7000 series you would have alot more performance and stability.

Nothing wrong with AMD, you had a bad experience, no big deal.

That is weird. Is the rx580 suck because it came before the 5600? When did that came out?

Did you try another driver to see if that fixed the issue or try anything else to alleviate it? Seems kind of overboard to write off a manufacturer because of a driver issue

This, probably tbh. I have had a few hiccups switching to amd but mostly self inflicted.

Driver needs download and more confusing but it work. Experience make download easier. Adrenaline sound like a tricky name. I also installed the product wrong so it moves around but amd gpu trumps when complete.
