RAID (redundant array of independent disks) is a way of storing the same data in different places on multiple hard disks or solid-state drives (SSDs) to protect data in the case of a drive failure.

Most BIOS support RAID and have a built-in “RAID controller”. When you have more then 1 disk connected, there should be an option somewhere to configure it.

As you haven’t set this up; it shows as NON raid disks. You can probably disable it or use it. Keep in mind: creating a RAID array might wipe your drives. Best not to use it if you dont know what your doing.

There is nothing to be worried about; everything is fine as is.

Can I make it so it skip that screen? I want to use the Hdd as a different storage and not a copy of ssd which has windows on it. I had to partition the Hdd for it to work. It did not recognize it when I first plugged in wires.
