My internet has been weird the past few months/weeks I get high packet loss % while playing cod, fortnite etc.

I cycled my router, i reset my router, i did some CMD resets etc. idk whats going on? anything i can check into?

still happen if connected through ethernet? if you're using a wifi adapter, could be the dongle

That must be the router. Someone else said it could also be the old motherboard.

its nearly a brand new computer so i dont think its a hardware issue, I ran ping plotter and narrowed it down to be either my router or the connection from the pole to my router. it seems xfinity doesn't like you to use routers other than theirs this is like the 3rd time ive had issue with xfinity. I get their all in one router and its fine then i switch back to one of my own so i dont have to pay the monthly fee and all of a sudden it starts having issues

The company usually use the best router modem possible. It could be that your router is not as good. Is it dual band?

Do you buy the routers that cost around 100 to 200 dollars?
