Hello
I've had issues since i've built my computer less than a month ago

Specs:
msi b550 gaming plus (brand new)
nvidia gtx 3060ti (brand new)
amd ryzen 5 5600 (brand new)
4x 4gb ram sticks 3200mhz (5 year old ~)
850w gold plus psu

everything is brand new except ram and i have 4 sticks

BSOD errors (kernel_power -- memory_management, isql_not_less_or_equal)
i've been hearing static sound in my ears for 2 straight days before the computer COMPLETELY freezes (but does not reboot)

was on w10, went on w11 (downloaded from microsoft website); still errors
re-downloaded everything, no fishy stuff since i keep putting it in factory mode
i don't see anything special than kernel / memory_management in windows event viewer
tested ram with memtest86 but it says there's no issue (even though i think this is the main concern)
already done the youtube stuff; fast startup; power supply settings etc..
done sfc scannow // dism online cleanup

i'm abt to change ram but does anyone already experienced this kind of issue lately and would try to help me out?

thanks

Msi b550 has known memory channel issues. Could be a faulty mobo or even a faulty cpu. It could also be an incorrect bios for your cpu. Double check your compatibility with Ryzen 5000 and your mobo. Troubleshoot your memory slots as well by taking out all sticks and try just using 2 and 4 slots. Then try 1and 3.
