Just wondering anyones thoughts
Contemplating either grabbing this or the steam deck

Still undecided any feedback is welcomed

Steam deck has its purpose and it’s arguably better for many reasons. If all you want is Windows pre-installed and a bit more oomph, go with the Ally.

No trackpads on the Ally is miserable for navigating Windows, probably my biggest gripe, aside from cost. If you’re going to play docked often, the Ally is a huge step up.

rog ally is great for the following reasons:
- gfx holds its own
- comfortable (but you can always add etsy grips and whatnot)
- can remote play your ps5 with chiaki no issues
- windows is more comfortable to fuck with than steamdeck

has some main drawbacks
- dont bother with sd card untill they figure out whats frying the cards
- itll get hot. fast.
- battery life is shit
