I have an oldish PC build from 2017, at the time it was top notch

Now when I try to stream on Twitch, the stream will randomly cut out for a moment and then reconnect. This is irksome because I want to record the entirety of the stream

I’m using a WiFi connection with a bouncer plugged in next to my PC, the speed test shows 300 down 100 up

Could someone let me know any resources or guides to fix this?

I did not have this issue when I streamed before recently moving, even tho the internet connection is now much faster where I am now than it was previously. Tried doing a full system wipe and reinstall, didn’t work

TBH the only things I'd personally considering doing are:

- Hotspotting off your phone (likely to be a better connection, but waste of phone life and data).
- Moving the router closer if possible.
- Getting a cabled connection. You can pay someone to install an ethernet port in your room and run a network cable from the router to your room (under the house or w/e). Presumably like $100-300.

Otherwise, if your pc uses outdated wifi technology or your booster is shite, that will impact it slightly.. But when we're talking about livestreaming video I think hotspotting via plugged in phone OR getting a cabled connection are the only options I'd personally bother with. If you are using a connection extender (booster?) at this address but didn't at the last address, that could be part of it.. But wireless connections are hardly fit for livestreaming video regardless IMO.
