It’s been a while since I made a build for myself, I figured I’d challenge myself with a 1440p capable system with a budget of $300 USD. Here’s what I have thus far:

Jginyue X99 Titanium D4 Chinese motherboard - $60
4x8gb 2400mhz ecc ddr4 ram (quad channel) - $30
Elsa RX 5700 XT GPU - $120
Rosewill Prism S500 case - $54
Xeon e5 2670-v3 - $7 (will turbo unlock)

Currently sourcing an NVME and capable PSU, wanting to also find a cheap 240mm aio with colorful lights.

Will be installing a modified bios for overclocking and swap CPU for 1660-v3 (maybe v4?) in the near future. Ram will get fancy flashy heatsinks.

Received a few parts today!

P.s. - I love Xeon builds.

Nearly finished, all that’s left is to sleeve my PSU, maybe easy route with extensions and aRGB my ram.

Random Apevia 800w gold PSU (good oem) - $50
Thermalright 240mm rgb cooler - $50
2tb nvme - $70
aRGB controller - $7

Went a little over my budget, nvme and cooler weren’t necessary ^_^

Initial boot for ram learning and play a bit with aRGB.
