Built a new pc yesterday and running hot

Ryzen 5 5600x
Msi b550 Gaming Play motherboard
2x16Gig DD4 3200mhz sticks
1Tb Crucial M.2
650Watt power supply Evga 80+Bronze
XFX rx 6600xt video card

I have the regular stealth cooler that came with the ryzen 5 5600x
and my only fans are the ones that came in my case that is a Thermal take case v2000 Tg It has one exhuast fan and three fans in front all fans seem to be running but I don't hear them ramping up at all sounds so silent even under heavy loads. The software says the fan is at 100% but i dont even hear it sounds like its at idle. iIchecked in bios looks like everything is ok i downloaded Msi center software any tips or tricks that might help me please

was running Core tempture was at 85-88 and the Cpu socket temp was around 60c

Cpu fan in Msi center says it was running at 100%

can anyone give me any info i watched million youtube videos dont no what to do next

First check the Sticker on the fans, and make sure they are even rated to go over 1,000 RPMS , hopefully 2000 Rated. ( sometimes they cheap out and give people 800RPMS )
Normally all the fans are plugged into a hub, and then the hub is plugged into the 4 pins on the motherboard. ( Some Hubs even come with Remotes for speed/colors )
If they are not plugged into a hub, sometimes they can run at minimum or maximum or a bad default curve setting.

Recommendation :
Download MSI Center !

Monitors all your hardware ,shows you all your Fan Speeds & Curves for all your parts, Voltage ect.
you can even adjust for Silent, Balanced, and gaming Modes.
There has been over 10 Bios Updates for that motherboard in general on top of a ton of driver updates.

Other Thought : check your Power Options Plan. You might be on Power Saver Mode.
* 60C is a bad idle Temp * Most of the pc's I've ever built/had with stock cooler sit at 37-42C on cpu, and 47-52C on GPU

can confirm it's ass

also did you ensure to remove the plastic tab over the CPU cooler & apply thermal paste?

& Candyzcanes is right the Bios software is probably easier to use & customize

I recently built a PC for a friend & upon initial testing the CPU was running very hot, checking in Bios the Fans were tuned correctly but the Pump was not, fixed pump to max speed & temperatures are now optimal

Can be the slightest thing sometimes

Yeah thanks guys am still working on it but i just used stock cooler that amd ryzen 5600x and i looked in booklet didnt say it had clear plastic tab it already came with thermal paste on it. i can double check that i dont wanna take it back apart. Just weird people say fans should be loud and noisy when they ramp up but my pc so silent maybe ill upload you tube video from my phone. am using bios and msi center software as well might be ordering a new cpu cooler so will see. ill keep you tuned in

Can you find the model# of the fans you installed? Would help determine if they are PWM and adjustable. One hub fan controller can sometimes make things easier as well.

Doesn't sound like it's the plastic film over the heat sink as you stated it came with thermal paste on it. I do know that the wraith stealth coolers are limited on their cooling capacities and the 5600x/AMD can run hotter in general.
