Hello guys,

im in troubles with my professional email address for some weeks now and need help.

im receiving tons of spams from fake ladies or poor nigerian princesses wanting to meet me

they are coming directly into my spam box but this is still a problem for me as im receiving important email in this spam box from time to time ... so i have to check them everyday and this is annoying. The start of those spams are often the same, so this is not very long ... but as im checking very fast, i may skip some important emails

for information, im under win 11 and using an hotmail address.

is there any solution else than changin email address ?

thanks

Hey Max,

All of us including myself get spam emails to professional emails, even an Alias I have set that hasn’t been used ever somehow gets spammed. It’s a matter of your email filter server doing its job to properly filter out spam emails. For now, the only thing you can do is mark these emails as Junk and add the senders to your block list under Security And Privacy -> Plus sign -> Add.

Over time, hotmail will recognize the emails you flagged and automatically flag emails with similar titles/messages.

Hope this helps.
