Had to replace my 750watt psw, I bought a used one online, I replaced the power supply and also had to replace the 24 pin cable to get my pc to start I've removed all unnecessary hardware "gpu, ssd" now it will startup but after about 4 seconds it skipps like a car holding 1000rpm and then just jumps to 500rpm and keeps doing this in a 4 sec loop, I'm stumped on what the issue can be ?

Mobo?


Ram?

Did you buy a modular PSU and reused the cables?

If so, sorry, but it might be fried. Not even cables between models from the same manufacturer are compatible.

also have you tried to replace the 24 pin cable?

Yes I replaced, cpu, mobo, pcie, data cables only the tower power supply cables haven't been replaced sw psw, 3.0 usb.




Upgrade I order ram and new mobo

Would Cost me 90-150 just to test my rig, so I just upgraded my rig to 10700f Intel, gigabyte b560 mobo

Thinking about taking it tech support class I can already troubleshoot a pc and fix it but I wanna go pro
