I need advice on monitors.
I have two of the same models bought at separate times.
The computer detects one as 60hz with a very unusual color depth and the other as 75hz with standard RGB
Both monitors are blank after turning on the computer with the message "input not supported" until the login window appears
And half a year ago, after installing the graphics card drivers, this message popped up permanently and I had to uninstall the drivers on another monitor.
I have RX 6600 graphics, monitors are connected one to the hdmi-hdmi port and the other to the hdmi-displayport (rx has only one hdmi port)
I suspect something is wrong with the cables.
Can someone who is able to take a look at it and advise what cables are the best to buy here? or what to do about it. thanks in advance 🙂

u dont have to install drivers for monitors, EVER. use displayport cables when you can as long as the monitors support it, stay away from HDMI DVI, VGA.

If both monitors are showing different colours you definitely have a cable or monitor issue but either way both are cheap low end acer monitors...

not different colors but color format, look on the right side. One is YBCR444 and second one RGB. For what reason lol. Same stuff with hz. they are both same models but PC detects stuff as 60 and 75?

if one is detecting 75hz and the other 60hz that means both monitoprs are 75hz clearly as both are the same models, so the one that is detecing 60hz then is on hdmi.

they are both 75hz just looked the model up, are they both hooked up to a desktop pc? both should be running at 75hz, if not then its cable issue 100%
