Please give me source, My drives been preforming about the same since I got it.
Idk if its an issue thats been addressed or not. tbh never even heard of the issue.

If the drive starts to degrade I have a warranty.
But ever mushkin drive I've owned has been great to me and the RMA process is SO...
much easier then samsungs.

Not the best source but there's almost nothing on the internet about this drive. If any application did start to degrade in performance you wouldnt need to RMA just rewrite it. The drift goes away as easily as just writing to the cells again. At least for a time. If this is legit.

im not sure how crystaldiskmark does it but it probably doesn't read old files for its benchmark. This guy seems to have used the exact same static files for the test each time.
I don't like just dissecting peoples stuff at random but it seemed like fair game since you were recommending it to peeps. I still think it's a good drive for what it's worth.

No I would RMA it on the grounds its not performing as well as it should, they stated a figure and made no inclination it would degrade.
Now some minor degradation I don't give a fuck about however if my drive dips enough to cause the over all speed to suffer we will have
issues.

That looks like HDtune which also does fresh writes/reads to the drive for speeds. So I have a hard time believing it cause well my speeds
have not been affected. I'm sure I'd notice it also cause well based on those charts after 2 months Doom would of been loading at half
speeds which is not the case. So if the drops don't affect overall performance enough to impact it as a whole then who cares.

While TLC does inherently suffers from this issue it appears to really only effect drives after a LONG time not after a month.
The evo's NAND from what I'm reading has same issues its just less likely to occur, but still occurs.

Yeah I'd have thought if this was a real issue you'd have noticed it but I guess it really is nothing in the end. I also didn't know how long you had the thing though. I didn't know that test he was doing did new writes/reads because the orientation of the graph gave me the impression it was the same files being read from the same blocks each time. Not sure what's going on with his latency either, even for SATA II that seems really bad.

Thanks for being chill

Anyway, here's some more fun stuff I found, this time regarding AMD Threadripper! If it's fake, whoever made it is very familiar with engineering sample nomenclature.

Linear scaling from 8 cores, Infinity Frabric is good shit, I wonder if it'll scale that way all the way up to 64 cores?
This 16 core threadripper seems to beat the Xeon ES-2696 V3 which is a 24-core chip. Nuts.
