The system pulls what it needs from the wall...the Kill-A-Meter just tells what the system is pulling. Best to plug monitors into a diff outlet for the Kill-A-Meter test though since they aren't running off the PSU.

They should just use a clamp on Amp meter and just find wattage vial amps X volts. I'm sure a multi meter with amp reading functionality costs the same as this wall reader thing.

I dunno, those induction amperage readers aren't that cheap...at least back in the day.

The psu may draw a heavy load from the wall at first but the comp never receives it unregulated.

My laptop won't be here until end of day Monday. :(

You'll prolly also want to test your wattage draw with a load on the CPU and GPU, just like temps, the wattage draw will go up as the CPU/GPU load go up.
