HNNNG those OLED TV blacks:
http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/55ec930v-201412163962.htm0 cd/m² blacks man.
For decades the most important factor of picture quality has been black levels and contrast, but in the following years when OLED becomes standard... Every single TV on the market will have absolute (0 cd/m²) blacks and infinite contrast Oo
scary thought.
We've already reached the point where calibrators can achieve perfect gamma (2.2/2.4) too and resolution will probably reach its maximum at either 8K or 16K, both right round the corner.
certain professional monitors are also almost dead on the 6500K mark with its colour accuracies.
I wonder what will set TVs a part when every TV has 2.4 gamma, 6500K colours with 0 DeltaE errors, 0 cd/m² blacks, 120cd/m² brightness, 0 ms input lag, 8K (or 16K) resolution and infinite contrast

Oh and no thicker than a mm thin sticker that you just plaster on your wall or whatever.
Manufacturers will then have nothing to sell until virtual reality happens
