Nobody is supposed to...but 100's of 1000's of ppl do...the reason I'm not going to RMA thru Newegg is...that if the new board I just ordered has problems, I'll have already used my Newegg RMA  ^^

You can do infinite RMA's

Limited Replacement Only Return Policy

    Return for refund within: non-refundable
Return for replacement within: 30 days

Products that state "This item is covered by Newegg.com's Replacement Only Return Policy", or items labeled as “Non-refundable” (or similar labeling) must be returned to Newegg within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a replacement of the same or equivalent item, if the original is no longer available. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Newegg, and not the mere issuance of an RMA.

Ok, so I'll have two Sabertooth's...one probably bad and the other hopefully good (the one I just ordered) ...how many RMA's you think I can swing in 30 days, since they take like 1-2 weeks to process lol?

/e Just went thru my old invoices...the Sabertooth I ordered back in OCT 2012....USED to be Standard Return Policy...aka...refund OR replacement....now it no longer is ^^

Naw, I wanna see ASUS...fix it ^^

If ASUS does the work I don't lose the 5 year warranty...well 4.5 year warranty by now....and the new one I just got will have it's own 5 year warranty...NOT TO MENTION...the old one is already registered with ASUS...so eventually Newegg will ship it back to them..and they will check the P/N and S/N etc.

/e So sooner or later...ASUS is gonna notice that a certain serial number board is missing...so I'll prolly lose one of the warranties.

/ee Btw, it takes a tad longer to get RMA done from Pittsburgh, than from where you are ^^

Well I tried the straight AMD chipset drivers, from AMD....a LOT better ...and now the USB 3.0 stick works in the USB 2.0 ports...for some reason the ASUS drivers are slightly older and don't function as well  :/
37fg to Dolar  :)

/e  Didn't dare try the Auto Detect Tool  :)

This thread scares me.

I got my 990fx approximately a month after you did.

What BIOS did board come with and what BIOS you have it on now? Also, under main PCI-E slot..it says: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0, and in wee tiny letters under the ".0" you will see the board revision number....what is yours?

/e I'm on 1302 BIOS and board rev.: 1.01
