do websites you make purchases from sell your fking phone number to people who call u to buy home insurance and credit fraud scams?

like ive been getting 2 or 3 calls a day since i made a purchase from jet.com and parts express and gave them my phone number for the order

I mean theres absolutely no reason they need it.

I just enter in fake ones.

You'd have to read their privacy policy though to find out.

well parts express actually called me to verify my shipping address. but yea idk... i feel like they should not be able to sell your number, but thats the only possible explanation for why i am getting an increase in phone calls of all a sudden lol

yea if i am doing an online order for like pizzahut or something then ill use random emails.

but if its an actual business where i am buying something for over $50 then i prefer to use legit information, just in case.

true. i guess thats a good idea. but that can get a bit crazy to have more than 2 emails.

I can't believe it. I just installed Microsoft Golf 1999 Edition on Windows 7.
Had to run setup in compatibility mode ofc.

Now to see if it will run.
