Rega turntables have received nothing but positive reviews, and are quite cheap

Both are around the ~ £200 mark new.


Vinyl's been around for ages so if you buy used I'm sure you can find some pretty cool treats for next to nothing, but for a relatively high quality player without breaking the bank its pretty tough to beat Rega and Pro-ject.

Not as good as the ZT60/VT60 plasmas from Panasonic (they are superior in literally every way)

and if you've seen the LG or Samsungs OLED or are used to using any AMOLED devices (e.g. Samsung Galaxy, Samsung Note series, Samsung Tab pro etc..) then ironically enough you good complain about the Kuro's blacks !

Not even the best plasmas can compete with the absolute 0 cd/m² black levels of OLED...

... but all OLED TVs so far on the market today have colour / video processing issues but overall I'd say there are only 4-5 TVs better than the Kuro today.

4. VT60/ZT60
5. possibly Kuro KRP 500-A


I have the LX5090 Kuro which is slightly worse than the 500-A (doesn't include the Pro mode which gives you near-calibrated results out of the box)

What do you guys think about TH600 or TH900? I listen to alot of genres but mostly EDM.

I need a pair of headphones thinking of ath m50s for $141.59 (canadian) is there a better pair for this price? I know the Sennheiser HD 598 are supposed to be good but on amazon canadian costs well over $200

/e also is there a pair like the Sennheiser HD 598 that has a cord you can take out? I move around a lot between my parents homes so the wire got damaged on my old pair of headphones, but don't want it just loosely hanging in there and easily falling out
