So by your logic, someone who spends $200 on headphones is a "frugal spender"? Yeah, no.

Money is partially relative, you are correct. There is also a line where overspending ridiculous amounts on stuff is considered, you know, ridiculous.

For example, the headphones. Unless he works for a professional studio that does recording, that is a terrible price / waste of resources.
