Just lost the Dual Channel capability of my 2x 8GB sticks of RAM....both sticks work in slot 2 , neither work in slot 4 (slots 2 & 4 are where they are supposed to be...

Seems that the CPU or mobo has taken a crap  :/

Naw it's not the RAM or the Mobo...it's prolly the 8350.....I may have touched a few pins by accident when redoing all the case wiring. So, what I'm gonna do now...is put the 4170 back in to see if the RAM shows as 16GB again...be back in a while :/

Didn't someone post info about all you need is your processor number and it will tell you what batch it came from and overclocks people got?

Yeah, like on overclock.net there's an official 8350 thread and people with respective batch numbers get about the same overclocks, ect.

Also helpful if there's common errors and such.

Batch number should be right on top of the CPU though.
