I know that, I mean have you tried connecting your Qnix to the integrated card instead of your MAIN GPU?

Have you tried turning on the qnix monitor by itself? Does it have a black screen or no signal?

if another monitor works fine with the gpu, and my tv works fine with the gpu. then the gpu is fine.

qnix has a black screen when not plugged it of course? cause nothing plugged in

and yes, the issue is that the screen is black when it is plugged in

Assuming you're using the same cables...then yes.

whats the chance of a cable taking a shit? lol. yea i guess its possible? but if the cable has not been in water, fire, extreme conditions, or bent, or cut, then an insulated cable should be fine for many years?

Yeah it should. But when troubleshooting a problem, you can't assume anything.
I mean, just unhooking a cable when your in a hurry can sometimes damage it.

Troubleshooting is like math, you can't skip ANY steps or the result is meaningless.

On a side note...

/e Btw, all vid cards these days...have a cable type they "prefer". W/e cable type that is...it will assign w/e monitor it's hooked to as primary, until you manually set up which monitor you WANT to be primary.

I discovered this back in 2013 when I bought that Titan. I had the Dell monitor hooked up with DVI and the TV hooked up with HDMI...this was on my GTX 680. When I got the Titan, I just slapped it in, hooked up the cables the same way and turned the comp on...I got black screen on my Dell.

I thought the Titan was DOA from the factory, I called EVGA to set up RMA, and they told me....turn on your TV. Poof, there was my desktop on the TV.
He then explained that with the Titan, it automatically sets w/e is hooked to HDMI as primary, until I manually choose which one I WANT to be primary.

All I had to do was go on the desktop on the TV and open Nvidia control panel and manually set the Dell to be primary, and poof, there was my desktop on the Dell.

Cables fatigue and fail all the time.
