/e Well the slot that is circled in yellow, is definitely a PCI-E x16 slot, so the vid card will work in your comp...altho from the pic, it looks like there a fan in the way?

Can't find the correct one....all I can find is 15 pin 2 row and 3 row right angle DB15 PCB connectors but they are all the more modern type. :/
It seems the one you have is an older type.


So I would just go with a new vid card, like I linked above...or better yet...just build a new PC.

It seems that other than a lucky find on ebay or the like. That VGA connector is impossible to get these days.

Seems OP is concerned with data on his HDD, and retrieving it. I explained via PM that he could do that, with just the HDD and another computer.
AND that if he absolutely wants to get this computer working, he can still do it with a cheap vid card, although from the pictures he posted...it seems there is an exhaust fan, right where the vid card would go. :/

Needless to say, I think his best option is just remove the working HDD and attach it to another computer. OP may need to get an IDE to SATA adapter, but that would be far cheaper than any other alternative.

Read both topics and see if you come to that conclusion. His sneaky edits when I posted a reply and included a quote.

People post proof of what they are saying yet he posts no conclusive evidence supporting his rant.

If I was incorrect I would at least have the decency to admit it. However, neither Greg it I resorted to bold and large letters. You see who did. Obviously it's a cry for attention or very similar to a child stomping their feet.

If you post something relevant then he just turns it into an argument trying to prove people wrong. Like Greg says, if somebody posted 2+2=4 he would try to prove them wrong.
